- 1
Add your image
Choose a file, drag it onto the page, or paste it. PNG, JPG, GIF and WebP all work.

- 4
Download and paint
Download the PNG and use the color counts to plan how many pixels of each color you need.
Frequently asked questions
- What colors does wplace use?
- wplace has 63 colors plus transparent. 31 of them are free for every player, from Black and White to Deep Red, Gold, Teal and Beige. The other 32 are premium colors, such as Medium Gray, Light Red, Olive and Slate, which players unlock one at a time with Droplets. The full palette with hex codes is below.
- Is this wplace converter free?
- Yes. There's no account, no watermark and no limit on how many images you convert.
- Does it upload my image?
- No. The conversion runs in your browser, so your image never leaves your device and is never sent to a server.
- How do I put the result on wplace?
- Download the PNG at its normal size: each pixel in it is one pixel on the wplace map. Then paint it color by color. The color list under the result shows how many pixels of each color the picture needs. Use the enlarged PNG when you want to see the pixels clearly while you paint.
- Which dithering should I use?
- No dithering gives solid areas of color, which is best for logos, text, pixel art and anything you paint by hand. Floyd–Steinberg mixes nearby colors to fake shades the palette doesn't have, so it suits photos and gradients. Ordered dithering uses a regular 4×4 pattern that looks like retro game art.
- What if I only own some premium colors?
- Turn on Include premium colors, then tap any color in the list under the result to leave it out. The image is converted again with only the colors you kept.
- Is this an official wplace tool?
- No. This converter is made by Everyone Draw and is not affiliated with wplace. The palette was checked against wplace.live on October 22, 2026.
- Can I draw it on Everyone Draw instead?
- Yes. Everyone Draw is a free, infinite pixel canvas with its own palette. Use the Everyone Draw pixel art converter to convert your image to those colors.
